This is serious, soulful Chambolle from a fourth-generation winemaker reclaiming his roots. Adrien Guyon blends fruit from four plots of 60–70-year-old Pinot vines: Les Fouchères, Les Maladiers, Les Mal Carrées and Clos de l’Orme, to create a wine with presence and poise. The fruit is dark and refined, with layers of black cherry, blackberry, and violet, lifted by 20% whole bunch and shaped by 25% new oak.
