The friendship between Matthieu Rollin and Nicolas Seffusatti was born in the back row of an Economics class in Montpellier. They spent more time with their heads in the clouds rather than in notebooks, and more time daydreaming than listening to teachers, and in the end, their entrepreneurship and their will to reach for their dreams brought them together. And the first direction has been China and the import of French wines. But their childhood dream was elsewhere: to create great wines in their homeland, Languedoc. Their founded Domaine Cassagne & Vitailles in 2015 with one ambition, to create true wines, uncompromising wines that would reflect all the richness and the diversity of Languedoc terroirs. Guided by nature, they passionately listen, observe, and analyze like hard-working children living a waking dream.
