Maxime Dubuet-Boillot

Maxime’s mother grew up in Volnay with her brothers and her sister, eldest of Pierre Boillot's siblings, his grandfather who in turn was already descended from a dynasty of winegrowers established for several decades on the land dear to their heart. It was at the beginning of the 1950s that his grandfather began to settle down to take over from his father Victor Boillot, who had recently returned from the war. After full cultivation, the plot of “Sur Roches” was one of the first plots worked by his grandfather. As a nod to their history and benefiting from an ideally exposed soil quality, his first cuvée was born there.
